Hi, I’m Amanda!

Hi, I’m Amanda!

As an expert and passionate knitter with advanced adult teaching qualifications,  I’m looking forward to working with you as you develop your knitting skills from beginner to intermediate or accomplished level.

I have advanced skills and qualifications in teaching adults, and teens having worked as a university and college lecturer for 15 years, teaching in health and social care and midwifery; my other great passion.

All of these aspects together with the fact that I have been knitting since the age of 4 and am confident to call myself a professional knitter, enable me to understand your learning needs and to plan, structured and exciting knitting progress for you.

(MA Academic practice, PGCE, with an EdD (Doctor of education) submitting autumn 2023.
