How do the classes work?

At knitting creative, all classes are face to face with one: help and support from your teacher. There have a set of modules designed to develop your skills, these can be followed loosely, even with your own specific requests. Your teacher will guide you to a variety of projects that advance your knitting practice.

What equipment will I need?

Everything you need to learn to knit will be provided in the class and included in the class price.

How do I book a class?

The classes are all booked online through my website. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking. Membership bookings and access are available through the website. If you cannot access the website but would like to attend a class please contact me directly.

Do I need knitting experience?

No knitting experience is needed, most of our beginners have never picked up a knitting needle or knitting yarn when they attend their first class. However, if you do have some knowledge of knitting you will start at a place in the modules to suit you. Please note, beginner classes are not suitable for experienced knitters.

How long are the classes?

Each class is 2 hours long.

Can I bring a child to the class with me?

No, sorry, we are not able to accommodate children in the class. It is envisaged that there will be opportunities for adult/child classes in the future. Please see the website.

It may be possible to accommodate a young, non-mobile baby, and breastfeeding is welcome in the group. However, at Queens Park Arts Centre, there is no space for a pram or buggy.

Please contact us if you would like to bring a young baby to the class.

Is there car parking at the venue?

Yes, there will be free carparking at the venue unless otherwise stated in the booking details.

Can I get a refund if I'm not able to attend a class?

Yes, a full refund will be available up to 5 working days before the class starts, and a 50% refund until the day of the class. Sorry, I am not able to provide a refund once the class block has started. I can, however transfer credits to the next block, or another class.
