Teaching Philosophy

Teaching Philosophy
I am a knitting coach with a tried and tested method to help people to knit so that they can use this special craft as a portable, mindful, creative hobby or business.
I learnt to knit as a child, and knitting ever since has brought me to an expert level.
As an experienced teacher, I believe that it is important firstly, for everyone to have the right tools and materials to create a successful, satisfying project. And secondly, for everyone to learn at their own pace and to express their own creativity as they progress their craft.
You will see this in my beginner classes, everyone was a beginner just a few weeks ago, or a few months ago and everyone is learning at their own pace and level.
Throughout the ages, knitting has always been a social activity, and that seems even more important today.
I work hard to ensure that all lessons are fun and include time for everyone to get to know each other and feel part of the group.
